Address a reply

When you click the Reply or Reply to All button, the New Message form will open with the relevant names automatically filled into the To and cc boxes.

  1. To add any additional recipients to the To and cc boxes, type the names in the appropriate box.
  2. To add blind carbon copy (Bcc) recipients, type their names in the Bcc box.

Note  Bcc recipients receive a copy of the message, but their names don't appear in the list of recipients. Each Bcc recipient can't see the names of other Bcc recipients. If no Bcc box is present and you want to add Bcc names, click the Options tab, and then select Show Bcc. By default, Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access messages include the Bcc box.

  3. In the Subject box, type a brief summary of your message.

Note  When you reply to a message, the Subject box will already be filled in. RE precedes the subject of a message you are replying to. You can leave this subject, or delete it and type in a new subject.

  4. In the message body, type your message. When replying to a message, the original message will appear in the message body.
